Mark Baker is a Land Use Planner at Roth Jackson focusing on a wide range of services that are geared toward guiding clients’ land use projects through the complexities involved in a project design and the political and bureaucratic aspects of project approvals. Mr. Baker assists in the representation of commercial, residential, mixed use, urban and historic redevelopment, and industrial projects in all facets of land use and zoning matters throughout Virginia. Mr. Baker works regularly with multiple stake holders, including but not limited to, State and local agencies, government bodies, and community organizations involved in the review and approval of development requests. Mr. Baker assists with obtaining local land use permits and other related local, state and federal permits and approvals necessary to successfully develop real property.
Before joining Roth Jackson Mr. Baker operated a private land use planning, project management and entitlement consulting firm and served as Principal Planner in charge of the City of Richmond’s current planning division and Secretary to the City of Richmond’s Planning Commission.
