U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services offices will start reopening for public services, starting on June 4, 2020, after having been closed to the public since the middle of March. Reopening may vary by location, so it is important to review the latest USCIS Office Closings information on the morning of a scheduled appointment. USCIS safety precautions, which are based on CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidance, may be found on their webpage, and this information should be reviewed prior to attending any appointments, interviews, or oath ceremonies.
USCIS has indicated that they will be automatically rescheduling interviews and appointments that were canceled during COVID-19 closures, and they will send updated notices to affected individuals.
