Zanas D. Talley is an associate at Roth Jackson. Mr. Talley works in all of the firm’s practice areas, particularly in Commercial Real Estate and Land Use. He represents developers and landowners in the various aspects of commercial real estate, including in matters relating to land use and zoning, development, financing, acquisition, and leasing.

Prior to joining Roth Jackson, Mr. Talley served as an advisor to the Richmond City Commonwealth’s Attorney, the Honorable Colette Wallace McEachin and worked as the Legislative Director for Virginia State Senator J. Chapman Petersen. He was a legal intern for the Richmond City Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, where he had first-chair trial experience in both district and circuit court. Mr. Talley also worked in New York City for Front-Line Anti-Bribery LLC, where he assisted in the consultation of multinational corporations concerning the Federal Corrupt Practices Act and anti-bribery issues. Additionally, Mr. Talley began his legal training within the legal department at The Wilton Companies, a Richmond-based commercial real estate development firm.

Mr. Talley is an active member of the Richmond community, giving his time to several community service organizations and the mentoring of undergraduate students at the University of Richmond and Virginia Commonwealth University.
